The club is run by the executive committee who are voted into office by the membership each Annual General Meeting. They hold executive meetings once a month (or more if needed) to continue the smooth running of the club and it's finances.
This Committee list is placed on the club notice board with contact details.
The committee's role is to come up with ideas to take the club forward and continue the safe diving practices that have been established over the many years of the clubs history.
The club does not make any money from diver training courses (a small amount from Special Development Courses) but derives its income from subscriptions, the sale of air and the use of the boat. Good financial housekeeping is the order of the day as maintaining the right balance is always difficult, too high a price and no one will join or use the facilities, too low and we lose money. The committee will always endeavour to give the membership value for money.
